Flameworking

All newcomers begin with our glass bead making class taught by master flameworking artist, Rosita Walsh. Ms. Walsh has been a professional glass artist for 10 years, and an instructor with GlassRoots since 2001. In her class, students learn how to make glass beads that can be used to create necklaces, bracelets, trinkets, and almost anything their creativity allows. Our students quickly master this technique, making it look deceptively easy, and go on to expand their flameworking repertoire to include sculptural pieces.
