We are super charged with exciting activities, trained teaching artists and relevant, engaging learning experiences. Our educational programs offer a range of activities easily adapted to the needs and interests of middle and high school students and teachers. Our in-studio and in-school programs are hands-on and all classes can be customized to incorporate STEAM, Geometry, History, Literacy, 21st Century Learning and of course visual arts. Through experimentation and creation, students practice teamwork, cooperation and problem-solving skills.

Teacher Open House
GlassRoots hosts Teacher Open House sessionsto provide a firsthand look at how our field trips, in-class workshops, and other education programs meet curriculum standards and enhance your classroom connections. Take advantage of our vast resources to light the fires of learning! Our teacher open house is a free networking and professional development event for educators at all levels. Its offered several times per year and seeks to provide a range of opportunities for educators to learn, be inspired, relax, and engage with our studio staff about integrating glass art into their curriculum. Access descriptions of our current and upcoming educator events designed to nourish educators' personal learning as well as provide strategies for use in the classroom and beyond. Our school tours can help you meet New Jersey State Common Core Learning Standards.
