GlassRoots participating in CWOW's ArtReach
Staff and student pair up for gallery's annual mentor program
Jazzlynique Wilson, senior at St. Vincents' Academy in Newark, teamed up with GlassRoots' instructor Kate Dowd this year for cWOW's ArtReach Program.ArtReach is the exhibition of cWOW’s award-winning education program that nurtures the next generation of artists and arts leaders with professional artists from the Newark area mentoring gifted high school students in their studios for a semester, interns receiving real-world gallery experience, prominent artist lecturing at Newark high schools, and a culminating exhibition. This year’s exhibition features wall murals, photography, painting, sculpture, installations, and video.
